Dear TPS 4th Grade Families,

I am very excited to be a part of Temecula Preparatory School. I have been a teacher for over 7 years. I received my Bachelors degree from Stephen F. Austin State University with my credential and my Masters degree from University of Arizona. I began my career in Texas and taught there for four years. Then we moved to North Carolina and I continued my teaching career as a fourth grade teacher.  I am married and have three children of my own. Much of my time outside of the classroom is spent at their soccer games, lacrosse games, track meets, volleyball games, and spending time with my family.

I am excited to be teaching your 4th grader. The fourth grade curriculum is very powerful and engaging. My goal is to use this curriculum to make learning fun and meaningful for each of the students. I have very high expectations for each of them. Fourth grade is a year of independence. Students will begin to take responsibility for their own learning. While working together, as parents and teachers, we will provide the cushion of support for the students, while they rise to higher levels of academics on their own.

I look forward to working with the families of our classroom!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Moreno
